For answers to routine or NON-URGENT questions, please contact the office during regular office hours. This will allow us access to your child's medical records and allow us to render better care. 

For medication DOSAGE INFORMATION after hours, please contact your 24-hour pharmacy or insurance nurse line.

For URGENT questions that cannot wait until the following business day, we have a nurse triage system available to you after hours.  The phone calls after hours will be answered by licensed pediatric nurses who will provide guidance on evaluation and/or treatment of patients.  Each patient will be billed $10 per phone call to offset the cost of this service.   A doctor is available if needed.

Some after hour’s questions you have may be answered by calling the nurse information line provided by your health insurance.  This is usually provided at no cost to patients.

 

Local after hours urgent care centers for children:

The following is a list of urgent care centers and hospitals for children often utilized by our patients for concerns that need to be evaluated outside of our routine office hours.  We feel that it is best for children, especially young children and infants, to be evaluated by physicians accustomed to seeing children.
